A sweet neighbor gifted us this amaryllis for Christmas. It took a couple of weeks to bloom, but now it’s gorgeous. I love having flowers indoors, especially during the winter. I also have a couple of orchids, a Christmas cactus and an African violet. They make the rooms and a dreary winter day more cheery!

I don’t really consider myself a bird watcher, but I’ve been more interested in the feathered friends at our house the past few years.
